My soul shall make her boast in the Lord (comp. ; and for the meaning of "boasting in the Lord," see , "Let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which executeth loving-kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth" ).

The humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. They will anticipate joy for themselves when they hear of my rejoicing.
