Psalms 103:20

Bless the Lord, ye his angels (comp. ). That excel in strength. The angels that "excel in strength"—literally, are mighty in strength—may best be understood as those called in the New Testament "archangels" (; Jud ), the highest of the glorious beings that stand around the throne of God (, ; ) and execute his behests.

These are they that, in an especial sense, do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
